Wilderness on a step from your accommodation
The trail leading from Skrad to Zeleni vir and Vražji prolaz is a circular and demanding route. Along the same trail are two educational paths: a geological one — introducing visitors to geological processes and phenomena in the canyon, and a botanical one — presenting the plant species native to the area.
The trail winds steeply down to the first natural attraction: the 70-metre waterfall and cave spring of Zeleni vir, then descends to a mountain hut open in summer months. Passing through the Vražji prolaz canyon — whose gallery of small bridges cut into the rock leaves no one indifferent — leads to the small cave of Muževa hišica, where the trail turns right and takes you steeply back to Skrad.
